Our Story:
My sister and I were born and raised in Denver. Our grandparents owned the mobile home park adjacent to A-Discount Storage. When my dad purchased the property at 3801 S. Clay Street in Englewood, Colorado (near Denver), he and my mom wanted to build an indoor/outdoor storage facility. An RV, trailer, and hot-air-balloon owner himself (his balloon is pictured on this website), he was in search of clean and secure storage for his equipment at reasonable rates.
My mom coined the phrase, A-Discount Storage because she loved finding good value at cheap prices, and she wanted to appear first in the Denver phone directory. They built the storage facility that sits at 3801 S. Clay in Englewood from the ground up, my dad digging the foundation where our warehouse sits today. My mom passed away in October 1996 after a long battle with cancer. Sadly, my dad passed away in October 2012, almost 16 years to the day from my mom’s death. (They were always great partners!) It was my dad’s wish that my sister and I continue in the storage business.
In 2007, I began to operate the business with my dad to continue bringing personal service to our customers. "Our clients have been very loyal to us, and we still have some of the original tenants", said Chauncey Dunn. "You are never just a number to us, but an important part of our business."
My sister and I are proud to honor our parent’s wishes. We adopt their business philosophy:
“Take excellent care of the storage facility property so your customers will know you will take care of their property offering good value at cheap prices.”

Over the years, we have maintained our low rates while continuing to offer services our customers need and appreciate. When you arrive on the property, you will see that we pay close attention to detail by keeping all areas clean and neat. We continually review our security to keep your possessions safe and secure. Jarrod Bonan, our on-site, live-in manager, is on the property continually to watch over your car, RV, boat, trailer, and personal possessions.
